Mayra & Ed

Friday, October 5, 2018

“On our ten year anniversary, Ed decided to propose to me, and he knew exactly how to win me over. He included our fur baby, Jax, who at the time was our only dog. Jax wore a sign around his neck that read, ‘Will you marry my daddy? (paw print)?’ No one else witnessed the proposal besides our dog. It was very personal and such an unexpected move.” – Mayra

Fast forward to their wedding day, Jax and his newest sibling were at their parent’s side for the celebration! How cute are they in their little outfits!?

Liz and Kait helped beautify Mayra and her best gals in the Bridal Suite at Historic Seven Sycamores. The bridesmaids all wore Show Me Your Mumu dresses in Silver Sage, and we love how the color complimented the rest of their wedding design.

All of the bridal details were stunning! Mayra was stunning in her wedding dress and we loved the accents of the fabric buttons down her backside and the intricate lace train. She looked amazing, and from Ed’s first look reaction, we think he felt the same!

Mayra and Ed we married at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in downtown Visalia, with the breathtaking stained glass windows as their backdrop.

Following their ceremony, guests were invited to a reception in The Garden at Historic Seven Sycamores. The newlyweds rolled up in style with their classic car transportation. Snuggles in the back of a vintage car have never been sweeter! We are amazed at how Charissa Cooper Photography was able to encompass all of the emotions and authentic love of this wedding day!

Guests were welcomed to a beautiful reception in The Garden that featured our new farmhouse tables. Their table layout included a mix of our banquet and round tables accompanied by our standard fruitwood folding chair with an ivory cushion. Mayra and Ed brought in their sweetheart table and chairs from Charming Treasures.

Guests enjoyed a delicious catered meal from Classic Catering at 625. For dessert, the couple chose a cake and cupcakes from Peace Love Sugar.

Later in the evening just before the bouquet and garter tosses, all the single ladies AND men started a conga line onto the dance floor. They had so much fun dancing the night away with the help of DJ’s Sal & JR from Bliss Events Group.

Shaun & Rachelle from Toasts & Bells were able to visually retell all of the memories of Mayra & Ed’s wedding day. Check out their wedding video below!

Mayra & Ed, your love and adoration for one another was so clear and inspiring. We LOVED getting to be a part of your wedding planning process and feel so honored to host your special day. We hope that you forever cherish the memories of this day, but ultimately hold on to the love we all witnesses on your wedding day! Wishing you many blessings in your years ahead!!
