Katie & Jireh

Katie & Jireh’s wedding was filled with love and SO many precious details, which is no surprise after hearing the engagement story of these high school sweethearts. Jireh is a true romantic, and asked Katie to marry him using the marquee of the Warners Theater in Fresno. Surrounded by family and friends, Jireh dropped to one knee in front of the marquee that read “Katie Takeda, will you marry me?” – and even made sure to have a photographer there to capture the memories!
Their early spring wedding day at Historic Seven Sycamores was just as romantic and thoughtful as their engagement. With the help of their coordinator, Kim Rico from Drops of Honey Designs, Katie & Jireh brought in so many details and touches from their love story, their personal lives, and in consideration of their guests.
Katie & Jireh celebrated their wedding ceremony amongst family and friends in the Garden venue. With their ceremony just in front of the barn doors, Natalie Galasso Designs created a greenery and floral arch to frame their backdrop.
Their color pallet was very classic with shades of white, black, and green with a copper metal accent and a pop of cranberry. It was a timeless look that still had a big personality and we loved it!
The couple brought in some impressive DIY elements with the paper crane backdrop to their sweetheart table, the greenery chandelier overhead the dancefloor, and the many extra design elements created by the bride. Katie created many of their paper goods, their dessert bar backdrop, and each of the custom made labels on the guests coffee bag gift favor. Katie and her father build the AMAZING shelf display seating chart that held the guest favors.
Katie & Jireh, we just passed your anniversary so happy one year of marriage! We hope that it has been filled with as much love and laughter as your wedding day. We are so thankful that you chose to host your wedding with us and will forever cherish the memories of your special day! Wishing you well!!
