Kathleen & Tim not only share a birthday, but they both agree that they both fell in love at first sight! They first met at Mateo’s restaurant in Fresno back in the Spring for 2011. Fast forward to their engagement with a proposal on Angel Island following a day of sailing. Tim planned the proposal and followed it with a surprise gathering with their family and friends to celebrate!

Tim ADORES Kathleen and Kathleen ADORES Time – we are certain you will see that as you scroll through this look into their October wedding day at Historic Seven Sycamores. We are so excited to share their wedding day and love story with you all and hope that you too can see their genuine love for one another and each of their kind hearts portrayed in what was capture of their beautiful wedding day.

Kathleen was STUNNING in her satin BHLDN wedding gown and Hollywood side-swept curls. Janelle of Makeup by Janelle Mashtal and Diana Rebman helped Kathleen and her bridal party get ready in Hummingbird Cottage at Historic Seven Sycamores.

The couple loved on their bridal party with Gaiam yoga mats as a bridesmaid gift and new Sunski sunglasses for the groomsmen.

Kathleen and Tim’s first look in The Glass Barn was FILLED with laughter and tears of joy! We loved how Taylor Brooke Photography captured these special moments! Having their first look before their ceremony allowed time to finish all of their family and bridal party photos earlier in their timeline! We love how a first look gives couples more time later in their evening to ENJOY their wedding night and actually SPEND time with their guests!

Here’s what Taylor Brooke Photography has to say about what made Kathleen and Tim’s wedding day so special to her, “This was one of my favorite weddings of all time. The venue was absolutely beautiful and had amazing variety for photographs throughout the day. The staff was super friendly and easy to work with too. I loved her classic, elegant dress, I loved the wildflowers and the funky lanterns, the henna tattoos and all of the colors. But my favorite part was that this couple radiated joy ALL DAY LONG. They truly let themselves soak up and feel every single moment of their day. During their first look the groom cried, while she walked down the aisle the groom cried, they both smiled and laughed like crazy, danced like crazy, and you could really tell they had one of the best days of their lives. Overall it was just an incredible day with a beautiful couple inside and out!”

In the presence of their family and loved ones, Kathleen and Tim shared their wedding vows on the Side Patio of The Glass Barn. We LOVE Side Patio ceremonies especially in the late fall and winter months. During that time, on a clear day you can see the snow covered Sierras in the backdrop! It’s absolutely stunning! Please visit us or take a farm tour with McKellar Family Farms on our property September-November to experience it for yourself!

Following their ceremony, Kat and Tim stepped away for sunset portraits while their guests moved over to The Garden venue for cocktails and reception.

Reception was set in The Garden venue on a mix of our long AND round farmhouse tables. Dinner entrees were served by Classic Catering at 625 and Brahma Bull that was later followed by cake and desserts from Goodies Cookies & Cakes.

Later in the evening, Kathleen changed into her wedding saree, bindi, and bangles brought back from their engagement party in India. Tim’s family helped adorn Kathleen for their grand entrance into reception. Tim also made a wardrobe change into a sherwani and loafers, called mojari. They were then introduced into reception with a drum to open the dance floor for the rest of the night!
