Kara & Anthony

We LOVE looking back on all the colorful details and sweet memories that we share of Kara & Anthony’s wedding day. The couple chose a classic color palette and mixed in so many fun design elements that showed of their personalities!
Kara and her bridal party shared the morning together and got ready in Hummingbird Cottage. We love when brides use the sunroom at the Cottage front door for portraits, the natural lighting is always beautiful!
Kara & Anthony spoiled their bridal party with beautifully designed and thoughtful wedding day gifts. Note all of the details from the GIRLS GIFT DETAIL to the names printed on the groomsmen’s whiskey bottles!
Laurie of Fleurie Flower Studio absolutely outdid herself with the florals at this wedding. She took modern, classic looks and made them unique and unforgettable! Kara’s monotoned, hand-tied bouquet had red anemones, roses, and a ranunculus.
Talk about an EMOTIONAL first look, we just love seeing Anthony’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time! Tree lane is always an amazing backdrop to this very special moment on a couples wedding day! As you can see, it is GORGEOUS in any season!
Their ceremony took place in the Garden and featured more thoughtful details that displayed their heritage and personalities. Check out some of those details below!
Cocktail hour took place on the side patio of The Glass Barn, where guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and live music sung by Rachelle of Toasts & Bells. Following grand introductions to reception in The Glass Barn, dinner was served buffet style from Rocio’s catering. Rocio’s was one of the couple’s favorite restaurants to visit when they came through Visalia from their hometown in Porterville. A mariachi played in the background during the dinner service and just before toasts.
Following the celebration of toasts and just before cutting the cake, Kara and Anthony shared their first dance to Chris Stapleton’s, Millionaire. What a sweet memory that they share with one another. Once the formal dances and events had finished, the couple joined their guests on the dance floor to celebrate their wedding night!
Kara and Anthony, we have such fond memories of getting to know you both through the planning process, and celebrating alongside you on your wedding day! We hope that this brings back sweet memories of your wedding day at Historic Seven Sycamores. We’re quickly approaching your anniversary and wanted to congratulate you on your first year of marriage. We hope for many more years of the love witnessed on your wedding day!!
